Somatics

Drawing on somatic trauma therapy, movement, and years of research into migration, borders, social policy, and systemic violence, I work with people to explore what they’re feeling and where those feelings belong.

Often the pain we carry—in the form of exhaustion, shame, anger turned inward and outward—makes more sense when held against the structures that produced it. That reframing doesn’t make the pain disappear, however, changing its direction can drastically change how we hold such pain.

Sessions move between talking, body awareness, breath, movement, and sometimes voice or character work. I follow what arises.

I work especially well with people navigating displacement, estrangement, institutional harm, or the particular exhaustion of living deliberately in an unjust world.

I offer one-to-one sessions online and in person. Sessions are available in English and French.
